Steel Fabrications (Martock) Ltd have been established since 1988 as Fabricators and Erectors of Structural Steel and associated steel work.
Working generally within a 150 mile radius of our South Somerset based headquarters, we carry out many projects every year for a large variety of both main contractors and private clients. These projects include steel frames of all shapes and sizes for the retail, industrial, commercial and educational sectors.
We are highly experienced specialists in Structural Steel frames up to approximately 200 tons. We are also able to carry out associated works including Stair carriages, Escape Staircases, Secondary steelwork and placement of Precast Concrete items.
We pride ourselves on providing efficient and high quality fabrication and erection of projects in order to meet our clients requirements.
Detailing of steel is carried out in our in-house design office by our experienced detailers using the very latest version of Tekla 3D steel detailing software. We work closely with our clients and architects/engineers to fully co-ordinate information and provide complete steelwork detailing solutions
Our workshops in Martock are fully equipped with modern fabrication equipment and the latest technology including automated machinery. All fabricated steelwork is produced in accordance with our CE accreditation procedures and is inspected prior to leaving the factory to ensure the product is of the highest levels of quality and accuracy possible.
Our steelwork is erected on site using our directly employed, closely supervised and highly experienced erecting teams. We pride ourselves on working safely at all times and in the most efficient manner possible to meet agreed timescales.
